Renee Porada Frazier represents employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation litigation throughout Pennsylvania. She works with a variety of client industries, including manufacturing, construction, transportation, retail corporations, municipalities, school districts, and healthcare facilities. She also frequently advises insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Working closely with her clients, Renee meticulously reviews and analyzes workers’ compensation claims to provide thorough risk management guidance and recommendations. She guides her clients through every stage of the litigation process, from initial notice through discovery and preliminary hearings, and eventually to trial. As an advocate, she has successfully argued for her clients before workers’ compensation judges, the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and the Commonwealth Court, and achieved numerous favorable decisions.
Renee is particularly well-versed in the complex Medicare issues that can arise during a workers’ compensation claim. Renee spearheaded the development of the firm’s Medicare Set-Aside Practice. She takes a comprehensive approach to the legal and practical considerations that are essential to a thorough set-aside analysis and Medicare approval. Renee also assists clients with handling conditional payments to gain reductions in the Medicare liens and settlement negotiations.

Received a favorable decision from the Appeal Board affirming the denial of a Claim Petition alleging head injury resulting in nearly a million dollars in medical expenses and future care.
Although Claimant testified the injury occurred when he was alone, multiple co-workers who were working with Claimant that day helped piece together the event to establish that no such injury occurred.
On behalf of a third-party administrator, obtained a favorable verdict defeating a claim petition alleging bilateral vision and hearing loss.
Worked on behalf of a transportation group, obtaining a favorable decision on a termination petition by establishing that the claimant had fully recovered from his work-related low back injury.
