Weber Gallagher Promotes Rick Brown to Partner

Philadelphia, January 4, 2023 – Weber Gallagher today announced the promotion of Frederick W. (Rick) Brown to partner, effective January 1, 2023. Brown is a member of the firm’s General Liability practice group and based in the Philadelphia office.

Brown focuses his practice on handling litigation cases involving serious injuries with multiple defendants that occur at construction sites and complex contractual indemnity claims amongst the defendants. He defends clients in general liability, complex mass torts, and toxic torts matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Brown also represents local counsel for several corporate businesses in cases of alleged occupational and non-occupational exposure to mass torts substances, such as benzene and asbestos.

Brown has decades of experience and has handled cases before local and federal courts. He has also represented clients in arbitration matters. Brown’s extensive background includes handling slip and fall cases for national grocery chains, banks, and third-party vendors. He also represents home builders and contractors in alleged construction defect cases. Brown manages cases involving commercial motor vehicles, premises liability, and dram shop law.
