Michael J. Follett is a civil suit litigator, focusing his practice on personal injury, product liability, and general liability defense. Michael handles all aspects of civil litigation, including trial preparation, discovery, depositions, arbitrations, and appeals. Before joining Weber Gallagher, Michael served as Chief Legal Officer, where he oversaw all legal matters. His responsibilities included employment law, and litigation strategy, as well as preparing and reviewing various legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, non-compete agreements, and warranties. He also has handled matters dealing with firearms law. He ensured compliance with federal and state firearms regulations and managed the company’s obligations as a government contractor, focusing on the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance.
