Michael Oros focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation, representing insurers in complex disputes involving general liability, professional liability, and excess policies, and providing coverage opinions. He has experience analyzing coverage issues related to construction accidents, toxic torts, CVA claims, and professional negligence.
Prior to joining private practice, Michael served as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, where he regularly negotiated plea agreements, managed court proceedings, and presented cases to grand juries.
While in law school, Michael was a student attorney with Seton Hall’s Equal Justice Clinic, where he successfully represented incarcerated individuals seeking parole in New Jersey. He also contributed to a national initiative aimed at educating inmates about their constitutional rights. He was a Senior Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and received multiple awards for excellence in oral advocacy and moot court performance. Michael was also a regulatory services intern with an insurance company while pursuing his law degree.
