Philadelphia, PA – September 2, 2025 – Weber Gallagher announces the election of two new partners, Georgios Farmakis and James E. Hajel, effective September 1, 2025.

Georgios Farmakis

Georgios Farmakis is a civil litigator with extensive experience representing clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters at the state, federal, and appellate levels. Georgios’ practice primarily focuses on professional liability defense, where he regularly defends licensed professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, chiropractors, medical professionals, and attorneys, in complex professional liability cases. Additionally, he represents medical providers, private employers, nursing home and assisted living facilities, municipalities, religious institutions, and transportation companies in general civil litigation matters.

James E. Hajel

Jim Hajel is an experienced litigator representing insurance companies and businesses in civil litigation in the New Jersey courts. With more than 20 years of litigation experience, Jim handles a diverse array of cases, including automobile defense, general liability, premises liability, and insurance coverage disputes. Jim offers comprehensive legal advice to his individual and corporate clients. He also works directly with insurance adjusters, offering comprehensive status reports and legal analyses to provide best practice recommendations and strategic advice on claims.
