Weber Gallagher Partner David Greene Co-Authors New Edition of Leading Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Treatise

Philadelphia, PA — March 17, 2026 — Weber Gallagher is pleased to announce that Partner David G. Greene has co-authored the newly released Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure, 2026 Edition, one of the Commonwealth’s most relied-upon legal resources for workers’ compensation practitioners. The manual is published by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI), and Mr. Greene has authored chapters for the biennial manual since 2014.

Widely regarded as the authoritative guide to Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law, Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure provides a comprehensive survey of substantive law and procedure, offering practical guidance on claims, adjudication, benefits, evidentiary issues, and evolving statutory and case law developments. The 2026 edition reflects the most recent amendments to the Workers’ Compensation Act and includes updated commentary, practice tips, charts, and reference materials designed to assist practitioners, judges, and claims professionals.

“Having worked with this material for many years, I know how important it is for the content to reflect real‑world practice,” Greene said. “This edition is designed to help attorneys navigate both substantive law and day‑to‑day procedural issues with confidence. It is a great resource for our clients and other practitioners in the Commonwealth.”

Mr. Greene is a Partner in Weber Gallagher’s Workers’ Compensation practice and is widely recognized for his depth of experience representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in complex Pennsylvania workers’ compensation matters. He has co-authored the PBI manual for more than a decade and is a speaker and faculty member for PBI’s Practice & Procedure program, which takes place every two years to coincide with publication of the new edition.

As part of the release of the 2026 edition, Mr. Greene will speak at PBI’s series of in-person seminars across Pennsylvania, where attendees will receive a printed copy of the book and instruction from the contributing authors and faculty. An e-book is available for purchase as well on the PBI website.
