Weber Gallagher Welcomes Partner Jason A. Lai

Philadelphia, PA — June 1, 2026 — Weber Gallagher is pleased to announce that Partner Jason A. Lai has joined the firm’s General Liability practice. He will be based in the Philadelphia, PA office.

Lai handles a broad range of insurance defense and civil litigation matters. His practice focuses on defending claims involving premises liability, motor vehicle and transportation accidents, construction incidents, and other negligence-based personal injury actions.

Lai represents insurers, businesses, and other clients in litigation in state and federal courts. He manages all aspects of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings, handling motion practice, and overseeing written discovery. His experience includes conducting depositions of fact and of expert witnesses, participating in hearings, and engaging in discovery.

Before focusing on defense work, Lai handled plaintiff-side personal injury matters, giving him a well-rounded perspective on case strategy and litigation risk. He has experience managing cases from inception through trial, including first-chair trial work, arbitration proceedings, and mediations. Lai has a practical, results-oriented approach to defending claims and resolving disputes efficiently.
