Tiffany concentrates her practice on medical malpractice and civil rights defense in both state and federal courts. She focuses on the representation of health care facilities and providers, including physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, healthcare administrators, and other health care professionals, as well as correctional healthcare companies and employees throughout Pennsylvania. Collaborating closely with clients and the medical malpractice and civil rights trial teams, Tiffany has played a pivotal role in securing numerous defense verdicts and has successfully defended matters pursuant to state and federal statutes.
Tiffany provides representation to clients throughout all stages of litigation. She is experienced in case analysis and evaluation, pleading preparation, motions and briefs, court conferences, depositions, and mediations. She handles various aspects of written discovery, including issues related to healthcare facility policies, procedures, peer-review, patient safety, metadata, medical records, and electronic communications. She also identifies and works extensively with experts on liability and damages issues.
In addition to her litigation duties, Tiffany provides support to physicians and other medical and mental health professionals relative to fact-witness preparation and responding to subpoenas. She also assists in the annual preparation of audit letters for various health systems, offering insight into legal costs and other financial considerations of litigation.
