Community-Minded

Weber Gallagher is dedicated to community service and pro bono work. Our team actively supports programs like the Ronald McDonald House, Career Wardrobe, and Habitat for Humanity. We engage in various activities, from serving meals to building homes and volunteering at local schools. As a firm, we sponsor scholarships of local students and provide financial support to nonprofits, schools, and charities.

Committed to giving back, our attorneys are encouraged to dedicate a minimum of 25 hours annually to pro bono work. We assist the elderly, those with disabilities, veterans, homeless individuals, and children. Our pro bono program covers a range of services, including guardianship matters, securing veterans’ benefits, and addressing legal needs of unaccompanied minors.

Community Service

Some of our community service activities include:

• A team from our Bedminster office volunteered in person at Bound Brook Food Distribution, and King of Prussia colleagues organized winter wear and food donations for Love Works Resource Center. We also held multiple food and toy drives with Branches Empowerment Center at our Miami office. Colleagues in New York supported City Harvest, while our Philadelphia and Mt. Laurel offices collected items for the JAWS Turkey Drive.
• Our Pittsburgh office contributed to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Drive, and the Scranton and Harrisburg offices supported the Outreach Center for Community Resources through a toy drive. The New Castle office collected supplies for the Brandywine Valley SPCA, and our Long Island team gathered items for Forgotten Friends of Long Island. Across the firm, we also supported regional food banks and partners through virtual fundraisers, including Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Feeding South Florida, Long Island Cares, and the Food Bank of Delaware.
• New Jersey Angels – The Weber Gallagher team packed 74 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help students in the foster care system start the 2025 school year strong, with confidence, support, and the tools they need to succeed. Eleven offices participated by purchasing supplies.
• Daffodil Charity Event  Weber Gallagher employees made donations to the American Cancer Society in the fight to end cancer through the Daffodil Days program.
• Philly Spin-In Event – Weber Gallagher pledged to raise funding to benefit the Cardiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Due to our financial donations, 6 volunteers had the opportunity to participate in a high-energy cycling party to “ride for little hearts!”
• NYC Fight for Air Climb – Weber Gallagher sponsored the American Lung Association and participated in the NYC Fight for Air Climb event in which volunteers climbed 55 floors of Penn 1 in NYC.
• Wine, Women & Shoes – Weber Gallagher raised money to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of South Jersey by way of the Wine Women & Shoes event. Throughout the year, Weber Gallagher also makes and serves meals at, and organizes food supply collections for the Ronald McDonald House.
• Habitat for Humanity Gloucester County – Weber Gallagher sponsors Habitat for Humanity and volunteers participated in a team build day to build a home and a better future for the Gloucester County community. Weber Gallagher employees also volunteer at the Habitat ReStores.
• Habitat for Humanity Essex County – Weber Gallagher also sponsored Habitat for Humanity in Essex County and volunteers participated in a team build day to build a home and a better future for the Essex County community.
• Light the Night – Weber Gallagher volunteers supported the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by attending an event to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancers.
• Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive – each Weber Gallagher office collected canned goods to support families in each of our local communities:

• Adopt a Family – Bringing Hope Home – Weber Gallagher raised funds to support 2 families struggling with cancer this holiday season.
• Many of our colleagues regularly volunteer with the Jewish Relief Agency to deliver food.
• The firm sponsors organizations such as Kids Chance, Impact100, Wounded Warriors Project, St. Jude, The Life Time Foundation, Cody Barrasse Foundation and more.

Pro Bono

Our pro bono program provides a wide range of services including, but not limited to, the following:

• Assisting the elderly and those with disabilities with guardianship matters.
• Supporting veterans in securing benefits.
• Addressing the gap in legal services for unaccompanied minors.
• Providing free legal advice to charitable groups.
• Supporting the homeless with legal issues.
• Hosting free seminars on relevant legal topics.
• Providing services to parents in establishing and modifying custody orders.
• Finally, our lawyers have donated nearly 450 pro bono hours in 2024 and 554 pro bono hours in 2025.
