Ana R. Ciobanescu represents businesses and organizations in a wide range of workplace‑related and casualty liability matters. Her practice includes defending employers in litigation in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as government and administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission against claims involving discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Ana also defends employers in matters involving wage and hour laws and family leave laws. Ana’s experience includes representing individuals and businesses in professional liability matters.

Ana’s background includes experience in both civil and criminal forums, giving her a well‑rounded perspective on litigation and case development. Prior to entering private practice, she worked with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she assisted victims of crime in navigating the criminal justice system and also worked in insurance fraud matters as well as assisting in grand jury investigations.

During law school, Ana gained hands‑on litigation experience through her work as a certified legal intern, where she represented clients in family law matters, including child custody and protection‑from‑abuse proceedings. She also served as Executive Editor for Research and Production on the Drexel Law Review and competed on Drexel’s nationally ranked trial team, further strengthening her research, writing, and advocacy skills.
