Brandon Small focuses his practice on general liability, where he handles a wide range of cases involving personal injury and premises liability. Brandon also supports clients in various other matters including medical malpractice and products liability. Before joining our firm, Brandon was an associate at one of the preeminent plaintiff’s personal injury law firms in New York State. His experience includes analyzing medical records, reviewing expert medical reports, and corresponding with medical experts to build strong cases for his clients. He has prepared clients for hearings and assisted in conducting preliminary, compliance, and mediation conferences, ensuring thorough and strategic case management. Brandon’s practice also involves researching complex legal issues and drafting motions, including those for appellate review, summary judgment, and discovery.
Brandon gained valuable legal experience through internships, including a prestigious position with the Honorable Valeria Caproni in the Southern District of New York, where he developed a strong understanding of trial procedure and case strategy. He also interned with the National Fair Housing Alliance, where he worked on discrimination issues under the Fair Housing Act, reflecting his commitment to social justice and civil rights.
In law school, Brandon was a member of Fordham Law’s Moot Court team, where he actively participated in interschool competitions and championed diversity and inclusion initiatives. While at Fordham, Brandon made significant contributions to the Fordham Law School Journal and served as the Anti-Discrimination Editor on the executive board of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center during the 2022-2023 school year.
