Joanna Buchanico represents national insurance carriers and self-insured clients in various general litigation matters including premises, construction, automobile, and product liability matters. Her clients include international hotels and beverage companies, restaurant and retail chains, and large construction and trucking companies.
Drawing on her decades of experience, Joanna routinely gets favorable results for her clients. She has extensive experience handling cases that involve catastrophic injuries. Additionally, she regularly defends her clients at arbitration, jury trials, and mediations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
In her previous role, Joanna handled large, notable antitrust class action and securities cases involving price-fixing and monopolization.
While attending law school, Joanna worked full-time as a litigation paralegal. She participated in Temple University’s renowned Integrated Trial Advocacy Program and won a mock trial. Joanna also served as a judicial clerk in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Additionally, Joanna serves as an arbitrator at Philly CCP Compulsory Arbitration Center and as a judge pro tempore for Philly CCP.
