Melissa Tsynman focuses her practice on insurance coverage and defense litigation matters. She represents insurers in a broad spectrum of matters, leveraging her experience in general liability and construction-related litigation. Melissa excels in providing strategic coverage analysis and advising clients on intricate coverage issues, including policy interpretation, additional insured status, contractual pass-through, indemnification, and disclaimers of liability and coverage denials. Her comprehensive understanding of all aspects of litigation is what her clients value most.

Melissa’s foundation in insurance law was established early in her career while interning at an insurance defense firm during law school. Prior to joining the firm, she honed her skills at three other insurance defense firms, gaining substantial experience in handling complex defense litigation and coverage matters.

Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law School on a full-tuition merit scholarship. During her time there, she was an active member of the Labor and Employment Law Journal, serving as Articles Editor in her final year.
