Miguel Tellado focuses his practice on general liability and casualty matters, representing insurers, businesses, and property owners in a wide range of litigated disputes. His experience spans first‑party property litigation, auto and trucking liability, premises liability, and subrogation matters.
Miguel handles all stages of litigation, including depositions of parties, fact witnesses, physicians, and experts, as well as motion practice, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. He maintains a high‑volume caseload efficiently, consistently meeting demanding billable requirements while delivering clear communication to both English‑ and Spanish‑speaking clients.
Prior to joining Weber Gallagher, Miguel worked at Miami‑based litigation firms, where he handled first‑ and third‑party property insurance matters on behalf of both insurers and policyholders. His experience on the plaintiff side provides him with valuable insight into opposing strategies, which he leverages when defending insurers and insureds in complex casualty matters. While in law school, he gained experience as a law clerk and legal intern, conducting federal forfeiture and regulatory research, drafting pleadings and memoranda, supporting litigation in state and federal court, and preparing consumer‑protection and qui tam filings for clients in complex civil and immigration‑related matters.
