Pro Bono Spotlight: Rookie of the Year, Haley Matthes

This month’s pro bono spotlight is on one of our newest associates, Haley Matthes in Philadelphia. She has worked to re-establish Weber Gallagher’s connection with KIND (Kids in Need of Defense). KIND is an international, non-governmental organization devoted to the protection of unaccompanied and separated children.

Among other things, KIND connects pro bono attorneys with children seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status in immigration proceedings. Haley relayed that KIND provides direction, training, and resources to ensure that pro bono counsel is not only competent, but well equipped to represent their juvenile clients.

Haley is grateful for the opportunity to help a child in need and strongly urges anyone else interested in this endeavor to join in.
