Pro Bono Spotlight: Ross J. Ventre II

Ross J. Ventre II is a star in Weber Gallagher’s Scranton office, focusing mainly on his workers’ compensation practice. He is also a star on Weber Gallagher’s Pro Bono Committee and in our firmwide efforts to provide free legal services to deserving individuals through Lackawanna Pro Bono and other agencies. Ross is always willing to take a case outside his comfort zone. 

Currently he is handling a child support modification for an individual who resides out of state. Before Ross’s involvement, this individual was assessed an overly burdensome amount of child support without proper notice of the hearing. The Hearing Officer considered outdated wage information and set an inaccurate support figure without any input from Ross’s now client. With Ross’s assistance, this individual is pursuing a modification based on his recent change of circumstance to obtain a more reasonable support order.
