Jorge Bofill is an Associate in the firm’s General Liability group and Family Law practice group in the Miami, Florida office. As an experienced litigator, Jorge oversees cases involving commercial and business litigation for national, local retail and transportation companies, as well as focusing his practice on representing clients across Florida in complex dissolution, paternity litigation, division of assets, alimony, child custody arrangements, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, including appellate matters.
As a member of the firm’s General Liability group, Jorge represents corporations and insureds investigate and defend allegations of product liability, negligence, and personal injury in state and federal court throughout Florida. Additionally, Jorge utilizes his background in local government, to assist clients in a variety of governmental affair matters.
Drawing on over a decade of experience within family law, Jorge fiercely advocates for his clients’ interests with compassion and discretion, by implementing unique strategies to secure a just and equitable resolution, while safeguarding clients’ long-term interests and maintaining maximum privacy. Jorge focuses primarily on high net-worth and complex dissolution of marriage cases, representing an array of clients from all professional backgrounds including government employees, attorneys, accountants, small business owners, and entertainment professionals with an emphasis on protecting significant assets, navigating contested valuations, and resolving matters where discretion and strategic judgment are paramount. He is known for a measured, detail-driven approach to cases involving closely held businesses, layered financial structures, and sensitive personal and financial information.
Jorge earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans, where he also received a Certificate in International Legal Studies. In law school, Jorge spent several semesters at Eötvös Loránd University School of Law in Budapest, Hungary and the University of Vienna Law School in Vienna, Austria. During that time, he was invited to participate in an EU Seminar that included conferences in the European Court of Justice and the Court of Human Rights.
Outside of the courtroom, Jorge enjoys traveling with his wife, playing pickleball with friends, and cheering on his beloved Miami Dolphins. He is fluent in Spanish.
