Elyse Cohen represents and counsels individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers in complex, high-exposure, and sensitive civil claims. Her practice includes product liability, auto, mass tort, commercial disputes, insurance coverage, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, and employment related matters. Elyse handles claims from pre-suit investigations through discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal.

Elyse is a dynamic litigator. She offers clients tailored strategies that achieve favorable results. Elyse routinely obtains defense awards and successfully argues dispositive motions resulting in early dismissals.

Before joining Weber Gallagher, Elyse practiced at regional and national defense firms where she also represented Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, family-owned businesses, property owners, and product manufacturers. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nan S. Famular, P.J. Ch. (Ret.), of the New Jersey Superior Court, Camden Vicinage. While in law school, Elyse interned and volunteered with South Jersey Legal Services for two years and facilitated youth court programs in two Camden, New Jersey schools.
